Waterproof Headphones
How To Waterproof Your iPod
If you’ve ever read this site before you know that I’m a frequent swimmer. I also like to listen to music a lot.
This used to be a big problem. Bringing a Walkman in the pool: very bad idea.
Fortunately for people like me, the technology has evolved. I now frequently use MP3 Goggles. However, I understand a lot of people are pretty attached to their iPods. They don’t want to get a new player and have to load all their music on it.
MP3 Goggles
I had a dilemma. I frequently swim but like to listen to music while I work out.
Of course, my digital music player and earphones were not designed to work under those conditions. If I got them wet, the only song they would be playing is the "Sound of Silence." (Ok, bad joke. I know. Back to the point.)
Waterproof Headphones and Earphones
Waterproof headphones are specially designed to withstand water. Heavy water exposure will destroy most sets. Waterproof headphones are particularly popular with simmers.
If you swim frequently to stay in shape, good for you. It can also get boring though. Lap after lap after lap. That’s why some like to listen to some music in the pool. You’ll need a set of waterproof headphones with your waterproof music player.
